2009 has come to a close and I’ve been thinking a lot about its successes and challenges. I started this blog at the beginning of the year and anyone who has a blog knows that it takes a huge amount of commitment and time! While I immediately felt like I had found my niche, I soon learned that I was pregnant with our third child. The challenge then became getting through my pregnancy while being a full-time parent to a 2-year-old and 1-year-old. Unfortunately I had to take a break from blogging, not knowing if I would be able to return.

Over the year I still focused on saving our family money by learning new ways to be frugal and improving the way I did other things to be more efficient. I still found lots of deals, but missed sharing them with my readers.

When our 3rd daughter was born in October I became totally overwhelmed with a colicy baby, but slowly over the past 3 months have begun to see the light of day! I suddenly found that I could work extra time into my day or evening for the things I love to do…the things that nurture “me” aside from being a mom.

So here I am, back to Frugal Mom Jenn with a renewed passion for finding deals and saving money….and new avenues to do this that I plan on sharing with you all.
